Welcome to Paws with Purpose

Founded in 2003, Paws with Purpose (PwP) is a 501(c) non-profit organization that provides highly skilled Assistance Dogs as partners to children and adults with physical disabilities or other special needs. These dogs provide comfort and companionship; help to break down social barriers, and perform many tasks that help their partners lead more independent lives. With the assistance of generous donors, and dedicated / enthusiastic volunteers, PwP is committed to providing highly skilled assistance dogs to recipients.

Based in Louisville, Kentucky, PwP is proud to provide these highly trained companions to individuals living within a 35-mile radius of Louisville, KY.

Ms. Kentucky World Universal Tracey Ann Sparks

We are so excited to have Ms. Kentucky World Universal, Tracey Sparks partner with Paws with Purpose to raise awareness about service dogs. As Ms. Kentucky 2023, her platform is raising awareness about service dogs for invisible disabilities. Service dogs assist children and adults in many “invisible” areas including diabetic alert, cardiac alert, psychiatric service, and mobility assistance to name a few. On her journey to compete for the Ms. USA title in October, she will be raising funds for two organizations that are important to her and help make a difference in the lives of others. We are fortunate to be one of those organizations! Ms. Sparks has set a goal of $5,000 to sponsor one of our puppies in training. So, let’s help her reach that goal and donate to her link below!
